I cannot stop playing with the "For The Record" Stamp Set by Stampin' Up! It has quickly become my favorite set in the January-June 2022 Catalog. I have used it so often that I am almost out of my black embossing powder. I have NEVER used up an entire container of embossing powder, it's crazy! This card has many more layers than my previous record cards and has more of a 70s vibe.

When I made this card I searched 60s and 70s patterns and materials. As I found inspirational colors, patterns, and materials I started going through my Stampin' Up! stash and made a pile. I didn't use all of the materials I had taken out, but I did use most of them. I really liked how the design turned out and I was able to use some materials I hadn't played with yet. How has this denim ribbon been hiding? It was such a perfect pop of color and contrasted the Cajun Craze so perfectly! I really wanted to add the gold glimmer paper but I could not quite make it work. I'm really happy with the card though!
Here is a stack of all the records I started with. I had a fun time stamping, embossing, and cutting all of these records. I did have to use my snips to cut them vertically because the paper did not fit into the die cut machine with two across. It barely didn't fit and I didn't want to risk messing up with any of these record beauties! I can't wait to see what other projects I can create with this gorgeous set!
