Welcome to the Luv 2 Stamp Group’s 2023 Blog Hop! We are excited to share projects with you again for the third year. This year we are shaking things up and bringing you all new monthly themes to inspire your next project! Happy crafting! This month’s theme is 3D Sweet Treats. My treat is not so sweet, it's more salty but it'll be a great treat for your friends who have more of a salty tooth rather than a sweet tooth. I CASEd this project from the catalogue. I could not resist creating this cute nutty gift. Materials Used: |
| The Stampin' Up! OnStage 2022 event was hosted at the Anaheim Convention Center. This is the most gorgeous Convention Center I have ever been to. I was worried I wouldn't find the room right away so I did go quite early to give myself some time if needed. As soon as I arrived, I was greeted with a palm tree walkway, so amazing! I could just hangout outside for hours! I was impressed with the placement of signage and how easy it was to find the room. |
I was a bit nervous and running late the morning of the event so I didn't have time to eat breakfast. I grabbed the most expensive pop tart of my life ($4) 😬 and enjoyed a "college" breakfast once I got settled. | When we checked in, we were handed a box and an envelope. The envelope had our name badge as well as our ribbons for achievements. The box had our free products, logo merch, pins and lanyard. | I was a little disappointed in our lunch. I like going to banquet style events because you usually get a really delicious warm meal, but we just got a boxed lunch. The lunch was good, but I'm not a huge sandwich person. |
| One of the best parts of the event was getting a sneak peek at new products. They had these pillars with new products and after stamping presentations there would be samples placed on the boards to showcase what the products could do. I wish they could do this with ALL the products. It would be so fun to see everything in the catalog in-person all at one time. I know that is a bit excessive, but it would still be really cool to experience! |

Video Tutorial
I started off by sketching. This is the first time using this cute notebook I got at OnStage. It's perfect for sketching card designs! | I embossed the background and added Cajun Craze using a blending brush to add dark spots to the wall. | I then added a small strip of Gray Granite to the bottom of the card. I also added Gray Granite ink using a blending brush. |

I started designing this card by coloring the sweaters with different fall colors. It's funny because I actually have a sweater in each of these colors. :) | I tried designing this card with just the black and white leaves. I thought it would make the sweaters pop, but it looked too bland so I opted to color them instead of leaving them white. |

I started with Fresh Freesia on the edges and I did have to use the newspaper to make sure I did not add too much color on the edges. | I then added Gorgeous Grape to give it a vignette look. It really makes the newspaper pop-off the card. | I of course couldn't leave it black and white, so I added some color using blends. You can use any combo of colors you'd like. |
