African Sunset Card
I could not let the Wildly Happy set retire without using it for a live. I had designed with it back in October 2020 for a swap but never posted pictures. I used the design and changed it up a bit because many of the products were not current anymore. I decided to change the sunset shape to a circle which creates a sun looking piece in the background. I also wanted to use the sponges one last time before they retire. I am going to miss them greatly! I love our new blending brushes but I really like the texture the sponges create on the card. You can really see it on the top with the cajun craze over the daffodil delight piece. I hope they bring back the sponges next year. When I create cards and am unsure of what base color to use, I often layer the pieces on different colors and take pictures of all of them. Then I flip through the pictures on my phone or place them side by side on my computer to see the differences. After viewing these images, I determined cajun craze was just right. The crushed curry was too light, pumpkin pie and real red blended too much, and the black was too dark.
