Kayak Adventure

When I first flipped through the annual catalog, I fell in love with this card found on page 85. I absolutely new I wanted to CASE it but I never made the set a priority. I finally did it! I absolutely love how it turned out! It's gorgeous! I changed a few things to make it more me. I used more vibrant colors when coloring the kayak and adventurer. I used Old Olive to stamp the lily pads on instead of white. I didn't want the blue to blend together, so I took a blending brush and added some color to the edges and made the bottom piece darker than the top pieces. I also changed the sentiment cardstock to old olive to become more of a focal point. I'm so glad I finally got to create this card.

I have never gone kayaking, but it is on my list! I have been dreaming of adventure the last week. I can't wait until I am exploring a new place again! Until then, I will just have to live vicariously through the characters on my cards!
