Let's Spend Time Together Card

11/20/2022

With Thanksgiving upon us, I wanted to make another card you could gift to friends or family. This card uses autumn colors and features two warm beverages in the center. You could change it up by adding a pocket on the inside for a gift card. I paired the Warm Welcome Bundle with Perfect Plants Dies and Forever Flourishing Dies to create a really warm/decorated feel. If you would like to purchase supplies to make this card, click here.

I started off by sketching. This is the first time using this cute notebook I got at OnStage. It's perfect for sketching card designs!

I embossed the background and added Cajun Craze using a blending brush to add dark spots to the wall.

I then added a small strip of Gray Granite to the bottom of the card. I also added Gray Granite ink using a blending brush.

I am not a huge fan of white outlines, so I colored the white to match the background using a Blends marker.

I then used dimensionals to add the welcome mat as well as the door.

I layered the planters on the right side with liquid glue and dimensionals.
