This month I decided to step-out of my comfort zone and create a project using the flowers from the Hues of Happiness DSP . I don't usually create with many flowers, but I completely fell in-love with this paper. I loved all the colors on each page. I knew I wanted to create a rainbow card using the flowers. I tried creating a standard card size, but it was too small. Thankfully I had slimline cards, which were the perfect size. I really wanted each flower to pop, so I popped each one up with dimensionals.

Steps to Create:

Picture
Step 1: Use a blending brush to add ink to your card front.
Picture
Step 2: Add water drops, let sit, and then dab with a paper towel to pull up ink.

Step 3: Die cut the flowers and arrange on the card front.

Step 4: Once you found an arrangement that works, carefully adhere each with dimensionals. It's best to do one at a time and use different size dimensionals.

Step 5: Trim the edges of each flower that goes over the edge. Admire your work. :)

Step 6: Use a blending brush to add color around the edges of your label.

Step 7: Stamp your sentiment, adhere your label, and add a bow using linen thread.

Step 8: Stamp the sentiment and flower on the corner of the slimline envelope.
