OnStage 2022 Recap

Before I arrived in Anaheim, I had to work hard to get my swaps ready. I am a major procrastinator, it's the only way I am hyper productive. 🤷🏻‍♀️ I've been this way my entire life. In high school, I used to do my homework in the car on the way to school. I still graduated with a 4.2, so I guess it worked! Anyway, I was able to finish 50 swaps in 2 days but was not able to put them in clear envelopes before I left. I didn't want to work on them when I was in Anaheim, so I decided to work on them at the ABQ Sunport and the Denver Airport while I waited for my flights. Thankfully my bestie also had work to do so we both worked to be able to enjoy our trip once we arrived. I've already blogged this project, if you would like more info on the card, click here.
Here is a cute Reel I created for IG. I am trying to do better at creating and posting more reels on my business IG (@dinodanielledesigns) and my personal IG (@adventureismagical). I think they are so fun but they definitely take time and energy. I am working on balancing taking photos/videos on my phone, GoPro, and Canon to use on all social media platforms. I think I need a camera man. ;)
The Stampin' Up! OnStage 2022 event was hosted at the Anaheim Convention Center. This is the most gorgeous Convention Center I have ever been to. I was worried I wouldn't find the room right away so I did go quite early to give myself some time if needed. As soon as I arrived, I was greeted with a palm tree walkway, so amazing! I could just hangout outside for hours! I was impressed with the placement of signage and how easy it was to find the room.

When we arrived, there were check-in tables split by last name.
Not only have I been able to find other people that like crafting, but I have also found friendship! I visited San Francisco back in September and got to meet some women from our stamp group for the first time. They joined me in a birthday breakfast and I got to spend the weekend exploring the city with Kurstan. Anaheim was my second time visiting these ladies and it's just so crazy how close you can get to people that you don't see each day. Technology has definitely helped in that area! We are always messaging, seeing each other's posts, and crafting with each other so it feels like we hangout more than we do. So happy to have been able to spend some in-person time with them at OnStage! Thank you Stampin' Up! for creating this crafty community!

I was a bit nervous and running late the morning of the event so I didn't have time to eat breakfast. I grabbed the most expensive pop tart of my life ($4) 😬 and enjoyed a "college" breakfast once I got settled.

When we checked in, we were handed a box and an envelope. The envelope had our name badge as well as our ribbons for achievements. The box had our free products, logo merch, pins and lanyard.

I was a little disappointed in our lunch. I like going to banquet style events because you usually get a really delicious warm meal, but we just got a boxed lunch. The lunch was good, but I'm not a huge sandwich person.

The picture above is the first time we got a prize patrol that was for everyone! It was so much fun to get up, dance, and get free stuff! Who doesn't like free?
One of the best parts of the event was getting a sneak peek at new products. They had these pillars with new products and after stamping presentations there would be samples placed on the boards to showcase what the products could do. I wish they could do this with ALL the products. It would be so fun to see everything in the catalog in-person all at one time. I know that is a bit excessive, but it would still be really cool to experience!
Congrats again to our Luv 2 Stamp Group's fearless leader, Patty Bennett! She got to stand on stage to celebrate her sales accomplishments! She works so hard and does so much for her team members and customers! I am so proud to be on her team!

The best part of OnStage being in Anaheim was of course Disneyland! I had not been to Disneyland since I was about 7 or 8. If you would like to read more about my Disneyland adventures, click here to follow my adventures of my travel blog.
