Welcome Little One

If you couldn't already tell, I love the Breaking News Stamp Set. I have used it for a Graduation Card, a Christmas Card, and now a Welcome Baby card. I think this one turned out so adorable! I love the little shoes on this stamp from the Warm Welcome Stamp Set. I did want to include baby items behind it but didn't have another baby set, so when I do order one I will add those behind it. I decided to use two different colors of ink on the edges to really make the newspaper pop! If you would like to purchase supplies to make this card, click here.

I started with Fresh Freesia on the edges and I did have to use the newspaper to make sure I did not add too much color on the edges.

I then added Gorgeous Grape to give it a vignette look. It really makes the newspaper pop-off the card.

I of course couldn't leave it black and white, so I added some color using blends. You can use any combo of colors you'd like.

I popped the newspaper up with dimensionals and attached the card front to the base using Stampin' Seal.

I added the adhesive-backed stars. I think these really help to catch your attention.

I didn't want the inside to be plain, so I mimicked the vignette on the inside cardstock as well.
